Calls, outgoing

Lift Handset,   Dial 9,    Dial Number

Calls, incoming (if ringing)

Pick up handset or press Phone or On (depending on type of phone)

Calls, incoming  (if not ringing)

Dial 40

Calls, intercom

Dial 3 digit number

Hold

Depress Hookswitch (about ½ second)

or FLASH (if phone has a FLASH key)

 Hear two beeps,    Hang up 

Hold retrieve

 

Pick up handset or press Phone or On (depending on type of phone)

Hold Retrieve If call was placed on hold at another phone.

Lift Handset

 Dial 53 + line number.  Example; to retrieve a call on hold on line 2, dial 532

or

Dial 5 plus extension number where placed on hold.  Example; to retrieve a call held at station 107, dial 5107

Redial, Last number

Lift Handset   Press # #

Transfer

Depress Hookswitch (about ½ second) or FLASH (if phone has a FLASH key).  On some phones FLASH is a Lightning Bolt

 

Hear two beeps  Dial intercom number  Hang up

Transfer directly to a Panasonic mail box. FLASH, dial voice mail extension.  When the Panasonic Voice mail answers, press #6 and the mailbox number, hang up.  Example, a caller wants to go to the mailbox for 107, you press FLASH 107 and hang up.  The caller hears the greeting.

Conference in a third party when you are on a two-party conversation

1.  Press FLASH, Listen for confirmation tone.  If you do not have a FLASH button, depress the hook switch for a half second or turn off and on for a half second.

2.  Dial the phone number of the third party.  If internal, dial the person’s extension number.  If an outside call, dial 9 or press a line button.

3.  Press FLASH after the new person answers.  Wait 2 to 3 seconds and press 3

4.  A three-party conference is now established
